And all of this time I thought you had no heart!Nothing wrong… just don’t feel like saying much. Need to find other forms of entertainment for when the board closes. Been having fun this week stirring up western Europe’s liberals with my political posts. Within a week I’ve become the most detested poster in the Current Affairs category... hard to keep up with all the attacks. The majority there think I should be fitted with an armband, also.
I came across a woman who was in desperate need of an air conditioner, and gave her the brand new one I picked up for a song. She wanted to give me money for it but I refused payment. Her husband was in an industrial accident and they’ve had to live on reduced pay for awhile now, and their bedroom A/C didn’t cool anymore. She was looking for a fan as that was all they could afford.

This was one crazy year! Full time work and full time school kicked my butt, and I have a year and a half left. Will be worth it, though, in the end. I miss everyone, though. Weekdays are hard to get online (other than school shtuffs), but my new year (the start of a new school year is the new year, and you can't convince me differently!) resolution is to pop in at least a couple of times a week to keep up

No worries. Been spending the little available time I have battling the waywards of the world, so not here as much. The hellish van was parked during the heat wave… I’m not that dumb. It was so hot last weekend that I went into the pool two days in a row as the water temp reached 90 degrees. I don’t think I’ve ever swam in the pool two days in a row. Also mowed on Sunday in near 100 degree heat and killer humidity. Rather stupid of me but it was the only day I could do it and the grass was about 8 inches tall. This weekend is the wife's company picnic... Lobster tail, clams, hotdogs and hamburgers. They're wondering what drink I'll showcase this year as bartender, and taking bets on if the owner of the company passes out and sleeps in a kid wagon again after a couple of my drinks. I'm thinking pitchers of kamikazes. I asked if the caterer could make Manhattan Clam Chower this year and the answer was no. She must be from Maine.
No no no. I don't mean that to be guilting them. I saw them and just really wanted to say hi and hopefully have them say hi back. Believe me, there are a lot of people I never call out.Thank you for calling folks out and guilting them into posting!!
