Gosh this is getting to be a habit and I am as tired of writing this stuff as you are probably of reading it.
But it's real life and once again I went absent.
Was admitted through the E,R. on 29 April with abdominal hemorrhaging and surgery was done early the next day. I got back home yesterday afternoon.
Didn't know until later that Anne was having surgery for a detached retina the same daay and the surgeon had to put in
a buckle behind the eye (GNT ???) and the other eye is being done tomorrow morning. He said it was probably caused by a severe blow to the head which did occur during the incident.
So that is what is up with me and mine. Life seems to be throwing us a few curve balls lately. But we WILL
get back up on our feet.
There was no way to get on the MB until I came home. No computers in hospital without special electrical hook ups.
I'll play catch up over the next few days and read some posts. Hope all are well and doing fine.
Thanks for listening (reading?) again ... No whining (I promise) but life has been a b***h lately.
Alexandra
Positive healing vibes on the way for both of you.

I didn't know he wrote one. Will have to look on Amazon.
Speaking of Wherefore Art Thou, you were gone for a little while - Welcome Back!

p.s. I would recommend this book by Dick Van Dyke - it's well written.
Thank you - I'm still out of sorts from the death of my father some months back. I'm just up and down all the time.

Thank you. I can't see a way of ever getting over it.
I am sorry for your loss. One really never gets over the death of a parent but you can learn to live with it. You will have both good days and bad days. I myself do. Try to hang on to the sound of his laughter. This has helped me a lot when dealing with the passing of my Mom.

I'm sitting on my bed, browsing this site. My computer is on a fancy little wooden table, the kind you put over your lap while you eat. I prefer it over putting the computer on my knees. It's more comfortable.

I've got CNN on, and it seems every half hour, there's a new dose of breaking news. I try not to let the madness get to me. After all, I'm already a little crazy. I'm going to be over at my grandmother's tomorrow while my parents are at work. She's encouraging me to not loaf around and get some writing done! Good for her!
