Hi all. New forum user here.
Which version would you recommend to a reader who has never read this novel (though I've read plenty of other King novels the past thirty years!)?
I realise that the illustrated edition has 50+ pages of deleted material and alternative scenes. Or would you recommend sticking with the regular 1975 manuscript edition?
Help me out someone.

....what say Paddy!...Welcome!!... IMO, as one who read the original upon release and several times afterward-I enjoyed the subsequent re-release for the extra "flavor" it added to the Vampire stew...but it doesn't make or break the enjoyment either way.....
