Lesbian Nuns abducted by and impregnated by aliens and their fight to get back to the church on time to put on the local speghetti feed and call the numbers for the bingo game.
*apologies to any members who are lesbian nuns that have been abducted and impregnated by aliens*
*apologies to GNTLGNT that there aren't any supernaturally gifted Golden Retrievers in the story......of course there's always a chance for a sequel*
.......and I suppose no fragrant bougainvillea either???....:mad-new:

After "Lesbian nuns" it really doesn't matter what the story is about.

Carrie's Younger Brother, that is a great idea. Very King-like. DiO'Bolic, yours is also a fun idea.

This is a tough one. I'm trying to think of an idea that is not a sequel necessarily, but something King-like, something that is not an idea that would be biased toward my sensibility.

First, though, I'm going to go the sequel route anyway. I've said it before -- a sequel to It. Not a book, just a short story. No longer than 15,000 words would be fine for me.

I don't know, I'm stumped. I'm trying not to think of variations of ideas that have been in my head for a while. Maybe he could do some sort of haunted house book set in Bangor, maybe a haunted house that supplies spirits and poltergeists to all the other haunted houses in the region (in other words, maybe one disturbed house in a state infects all the other ones in that state)? This I've thought of before in some form, but maybe something to do with a forum like this one?

If we want to think of something he might want to tackle from the news, I would say something based on all the police issues that have sprung up since about a year ago. Also, considering the recent success of the Taken franchise, I suppose King could use that idea about a woman whose baby is kidnapped and has twenty-four hours to deliver some sort of ransom -- that isn't a phantom memory, he did mention that idea once, didn't he?

That's the best I can do. I do really like that Lincoln Tunnel idea, though.

I would PERSONALLY bid for the movie rights on that one...

Am I mistaken in saying all of Mr. King's stories are set in the USA? I'd love to see one set elsewhere, preferably the Netherlands of course

Don't know what it should be about though. Sadly I'm not creative enough to dream up any plots.

I believe Crouch End and The Doctor's Case were set in London.
