I was looking for an address as well. I am directing a play in his area and I would like to send him a ticket. I know it will probably never reach him, but all the same. Thank you :)
Send me a private message (Conversation) with the information. It would stand a better chance of getting to him than a snail mail invitation that would go to fan mail. You're right that chances are he wouldn't attend as he has a very full schedule, but at least he'd be aware of the opportunity.

Hello! I am new in here, and I would like to ask some help. (First, sorry, I am from Hungary, and I don't speak English very good...) :)
My wife is SK-fan, she loves King's books so much, that I can't tell. I think she will be very-very happy if she gets an autograph from her favorite on her birthday. What do you think,I have a chance to get an autograph from Stephen King in letter, if I write him? And if it possible, can I ask the address?
Thank you for yours help, and have a nice day!:)

Sorry to have to disappoint you (and your wife) but Stephen no longer does autographs through the mail. He only does them at official book signings.

We've had proposals to have one of those autograph machines but Steve said if it ever got to the point he'd need that, he'd just stop doing them as he doesn't feel that having his signature done by a machine is fair to fans who are expecting a genuine autograph.
And that is why we love our Stephen King !!!

The pen is a machine we use to sign our name. The only true autograph is a fingerprint... done in blood. :)

Said pen is held by the person signing unlike the autograph machine. :smile2: That's what the people are really seeking--the autograph is more of a representation of something that that person had a physical connection with and I don't think giving the machine a pat every so often counts.

Thank you for your welcome, and your answers!:)
I am sorry that is not possible, but I absolutely understand...I hope that this is possible, because I read somewhere that I can write to his office...
I think I have no chance that Stephen come in Hungary to book signings:)
So thank you again!
