Hi everybody! I'm new here! I've been working on my first novel "Over" for about three years now. It's an absurd joke that I can't finish a novel called Over. I'm thinking it will be a funny joke once it's finished. Anywho, I'm reading On Writing and it's filling me with lots of new angles to look at what I've done so far and how to care about what it ends up being. One thing I noticed is that it's taking me three years and it should only be three months. I love my story, so instead of starting something new, I'm going to pretend I haven't been working on this for three years and try to finish it in three months. It would be so great for Over to be over!

I was wondering if anybody would be interested in reading the first chapter. It's three pages double spaced 12pt font. The book is primarily set in the afterlife. Characters only know about what their lives were like via three dreams of their last day alive. Each dream brings them closer to finding out how they died but also closer to not being anything anymore, not even free energy. It's a hippy dippy horror novel. Final brain activity sort of a thing. Does that sound fun? It is fun! Any opinions would be appreciated. I could post it here, it's on my other computer
