You really should see The Great Escape. And Stalag 17.

I'll agree on Great Escape and Stalag, but cannot stand Bridge on River Kwai. Most David Lean flicks just put me to sleep. Lean? His flicks are bloated and overlong (there's one for the irony thread).

And nothing you can say will make me change my mind, bluntpocolypse.

I like Kwai but have never been interested in any of the other Leans, nevertheless, you're a brute, Rat.

Even after decades upon decades of parodies and references, Lugosi's Dracula still packs a punch and projects a delightful mix of charisma, class, menace and a primal, animalistic sort of evil.

In his day, Steve McQueen truly was the king of cool. One of the few things I liked about The Towering Inferno, was the chance to see Steve McQueen verbally destroy Paul Newman and make him look like a wimp.
Yeah, you're hardcore McQueen. When I think of favorite McQueen scenes, well it turns out most of them aren't on YouTube and I must describe them: The Hunter, in the car driving his girlfriend to the hospital, "Breathe! Through the pain!".
