That's the great thing about a book...either it grabs you or it doesn't, and if it doesn't it's no harm done and you simply move onto the next one!
(Psst, the first time I tried to read "It", it didn't grab me at all and I gave up on it when Ben received Mikes phone call. I picked it up later and re-started, kept reading, and bam--instant book love.)

Agreed. And it's not like I didn't enjoy those books, they just weren't my favorites. I gave The Stand a second go-round a few years ago, just to see if I was missing something. The novel just didn't click with me. I'm on like my 4th reading of It right now - that one never ceases to hook me every time.
