I put the ol' gut in check 'cause it seemed to be burpin' and refluxin' a bunch for a time now, and this is what I get for doubting me guts...eh, the silver lining of the four torential thunderstorms was my equipment got squeaky clean..hmm, and probably a little squeaky.
I have a theory, think the more one is intuitive in regular everyday, everyday, the more one follows one's gut, um, intuitively.
Been some pretty good studies on one's birth order, well you know, in families with enough siblings to actually have a birth order, that has a signifigant impact on one's intuition, and typically the youngest of a brood is generally the most intuitive, ergo it's my opinion for what it's worth (eh, under a buck), younger members of family units are more likely to be your more goin' by their gut reactors...or not, I mean what's less than a buck besides spare change:smile:)

On at least one occasion while driving something "told" me to make a lane change or some such move. If I hadn't I would've been killed by an oncoming vehicle. One time on the job I was almost killed, either intentionally or by mistake, by a fellow worker. Something told me to arise from a bent over position and when I did a sledge hammer landed right where my head had been. It had fallen from a catwalk 50 feet above inside a ship we were building. The fellow worker had sent me down from the catwalk to get something.

And you never did return my sledgehammer.
