I'd have to say the highlight of my year was being cured of my generalized anxiety disorder. I couldn't imagine that life could be lived without constant worry and tension. Now I see how much of my life's energy was stolen from me, wasted on useless worry, and I'm trying to make up for lost time. I feel like I've been reborn.
That is wonderful f.f. You brightened up my holidays by just sharing. thank you

Every year is a blessing that I don't take for granted, but the highlights this year would have to be having my first paid editing jobs, being pushed out of my comfort zone by some of the books I've been sent to review, and seeing my own second book published (though I'd gladly let someone else deal with the lead-up-to-pub-date crap). And being married for 23 years seems to be an accomplishment these days--lol. Kids are healthy and doing well in school, I live indoors and eat regularly, so I can't complain :)

My highlight this year is, hands down, this little bundle.

Being a grandma is wonderful.

We took our annual camping trip, which is always fun. We don't get too far from home, but being together is all that matters.

Finally having some breathing room financially, which we have fought and clawed for. Not that we'll ever be millionaires, but just not having to budget every single penny and then some is a huge stress reliever.

The woods are lovely dark and deep
...the issue is, he has apparently decided to cut off all communication with us over some problems with his girlfriend he's blaming US for...this is drama I could do without...

Well, Dad, welcome to parenthood. I know you and your lovely bride have enough drama but the kinder would not feel whole less they add more stress. Is this the original girl, or another? Don't mean to be too nosy. But, do know that, been there, done that, the issues will be all over with time. ((((GNT/TRACY))))
