While I am not THE sir(or a sir at all for that matter) it IS a good sci fi plot and a quick read. Lord of the Flies ish. He is supposed to be expanding on it and hopefully making it into a full blown novel as there is much more that can take place. Of course he's been saying this for awhile now
I don't think you can download it. PS did three different versions of the book(a signed slipcased, a signed non slipcased, and a regular trade. I have the latter two)but you never know what the 'Net holds....The regular trade should go for about $50 or less these days.Congrats on your grab Scott! Hope you enjoy it.

It and Night Shift can be easily found sites like Ebay and Abebooks, Biblio, Alibris - just depends on whether you want a first edition...book club copies and later printings are fairly inexpensive. First editions will be pricey.

Any of you better booksleuths than I am? I recently bought a copy of Night Shift from 1/2 Priced Books for 3.50 and I'm trying to figure out what edition it is? I looked it up but got so many different answers I'm rightly confused. And it won't let me post my pictures!

It would definitely say First Edition on the copyright page, code S52 in gutter and have $8.95 on the dust jacket. Red boards quarter bound in black with red pastedowns. If you found a first, you are lucky indeed... that is a rare one with somewhere between 12,000 and 15,000 copies!
