Received my copy of the 30th Anniversary limited edition of Pet Sematary that was published by PSPublishing out of the UK. It's signed by Bev Vincent (Yo, Bev!), Ramsey Campbell (he wrote the intro), David Gentry (he did the artwork for the slip cover/cover and Mark Geyer (he did the interior artwork and is known to everyone as the artist for The Green Mile paperbacks and limited edition of said book).

Purchased Different Seasons at a book sale... Actually, it's the first sale like this in my city, was greaty surprised to find SK books in the original at such good prices... It's a pity I already have almost all the books from that list:big_tears:
There's nothing written that you can't have more than one copy of a King book in your collection (or more than one copy).

Hehe, I thought of it... But then I thought - and what do I need two similar books for? I still have a lot of books that I don't have in my collection... Looking for Cell, for instance... Seen one today, but did not like the size (just a bit larger than a usual pocket book), I have seen a usual pocket book once... Will be looking for it now.

Joyland, finally :) I came thisclose to buying an original pb of 'salem's Lot (Black cover with the embossed vampire face-the copy I remember reading ages ago), just for old times' sake... and then a kid moved to snatch it up and I stepped back. Why get in the way of what could be a magic moment for him? :D

I had a doc appt the other day. When I went into his office he was on the phone, and he said, "It's like in The Shawshank Redemption: Either get busy living or get busy dying.'" I quoted "...or get busy dying" with him, so when he got off the phone we talked about Shawshank, and I asked him if he realized that the movie is based on an sK book. He was surprised. So, I got him a copy of the book, gave it to him yesterday. :)

Just picked up Doctor Sleep US Hardcover last night at Walmart for 21 bucks. Since I got rid of most of my hardbacks and still have a few paperbacks I need, and have no paypal account for Ebay, I guess I need to be hunting down some Thrift Stores around my area! The book store in the mall used to have great editions but of course were full price. They have so many awesome lots of books for sale on Ebay, wish I knew how exactly paypal accounts work. :(

All purchased from my local Goodwill thrift store at $1.79 each, all hardcover editions...

The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
The Shining
The Talisman
Nightmares and Dreamscapes
Needful Things
The Tommyknockers

The few I had to pass up are;
It
The Dark Half
... I have these in paperback, but they're beat-up. I know next time I go back to the store these books will be gone. It's funny because some of the books just sit there on the shelf for a good while, but the Stephen Kings are snapped-up quick. Haha I've actually seen a couple people look at the books in my hand, and get kind of bummed-out that I got to them first.
