Here it is! My haul from Kon (not pictured, the scotch and wine we won in the raffle).

Thanks for the advice. To be honest I am thinking the same as you are, I think she should have been honourable and stuck to the price she listed. No integrity there. In this city in Canada, the Thrift Stores no longer accept hardcover books, just paperbacks.

Really? Do you have a good will? Hmm look on age books. But also keep in mind people are jacking the prices stupid as king is so hot right know. Try garage sales

You must have won one of the door prizes then? I just got a little goodie bag (it had lots of stuff in it! - thanks to those who made them) but that book must have either been a prize or you bought it?

p.s. Did the Sauvignon Blanc make it back to Seattle in one piece?

Oh wait! Also not pictured are the signed Gwendy's Button Box gifted to me by Robert Gray and the UK edition of IT gifted to me by doowopgirl
Such kindness is definitely not forgotten!
...enjoy the scotch!...I won it myself and don’t care for that particular distlliate, so am glad someone can enjoy it in good health...

Sorry I could not bring the glass skull with the vodka in it - we only brought carry-on luggage. :facepalm_smiley:

We still have it and it hasn't been opened, so maybe next time (if we pick a place we can drive to) :wink-new:

We won a couple of the door prizes but I bought Hearts in Suspension and the two hardcover Dark Tower comics (autographed by Robin for my son). That wine came in handy sooner than expected when I found out I had left our passports in the cabin and the owner had to drive out there to get them for us. We gifted it to her to thank her because she wouldn't accept gas money.
