Just bought a used one awhile back.
:D I had a nice Technics turntable but sold it about 5 years ago. Who knew that vinyl would make a big comeback? I have to admit that I think vinyl has a 'warmer' sound to it than a CD does. Plus you can't read the liner notes or lyrics on a CD- they're too d*mn small!!

Ain't nothing in the world like looking at (and smelling) your brand new vinyl album fresh out of the cover for the first time...... I always checked the blank space between the last song and the label to see if there were any hidden messages written by the 'pressers'. For some reason my Parliament albums always had those messages written in that space. They always had something to do with the songs on the albums.

KRF, Just want to say I love this thread. Its like shopping for king treasures. I have seen so many cool things other people bought and it sent me in a search mode. Thank-you so much for all the knowledge you have given me. I can't believe how much I never knew. What a King collector your have turned me into. So many collectors books I knew nothing about. I will never forget this thread.

You're so very welcome, Linda! It's always been my pleasure when I get to share the knowledge of King-ly things! I don't know everything but I do know enough.

Both of you have been a fount or (font, whichever you prefer) of wisdom on all things King. I can't believe all the wonderful things you find, treasures you acquire.
