Ha ha ha ha!!!My bougainvillea needs trimming.
if you want a Koontz fan club, you should probably be on a Koontz page, my friend.
Ha ha ha ha!!!
AND what REALLY gets me about Koontz is he seems to imply it constantly rains in Southern California.
IT DOESN'T!!! I KNOW. I LIVE HERE.
That was actually just a joke. Because I want it to rain.So now you're bashing a fiction writer for writing something that doesn't happen in real life. He merely takes artistic license when need be to set a desired mood. But I guess other writers never do that.
And the fact the you live in SoCal is irrelevant. Facts are just meaningless words that can be used to prove anything and I object to you using them in this discussion.
That was actually just a joke. Because I want it to rain.
But all of my other points are valid, son. (I really hate when people say "son.")
Suuurrrrrre you were joking. And your so called points are merely your opinions, and since you have certain tastes in literature that are questionable at best I choose to ignore them in their entirety.
A) I missed you!Tim, I know Mr. Koontz laughs all the way to the bank. His books sell. He has a fan base. No need to defend him; I get it.
I've never once said that Mr. King is my favorite author, or that I find his work to be the absolute best available. But I sure won't bash him here on the website that he owns and makes accessible to anyone - for free. And I definitely wouldn't accuse Mr. King, even in a joking manner, of plagiarism in general, let alone accuse him of nicking something from Mr. Koontz's work. If the shoe were on the other foot, I wouldn't crack wise about Mr. Koontz's work on a Koontz-owned website, either.
Just some random thoughts. I'll follow your lead and close this case, since I appeared to have opened it.
Have a nice day.
I think we are both aware that my opinions ARE fact.
No, I am quite sure that the blame lies squarely with Shasta. I don't know how she does it, I can't prove anything, but I'm sure she is always behind everything. I just know it.
Nah.... Tim D is good people and he and Shasta are buds.... there are some feelings in this, but mostly it has sprung from jest.I think this is a good place for those chill pills Blunt.
Sorry! I didn't realize that was for us!!! Ha! Sorry, sorry, sorry.Nah.... Tim D is good people and he and Shasta are buds.... there are some feelings in this, but mostly it has sprung from jest.
And.... Koontz is well, Koontz.

bookworm101, Tim and I are most definitely friends. That's how we relate. And if I ever meet him in real life I'm going to punch him.
