LOL! No regrets.
:)
A quick check in Tet Mates. I did some work for the local fair, twisted my knee due to a bonehead team member not working with me in moving the big pieces. Never again, I will stick to just riding the rides. :p I will post some pictures here in a bit.
I help out my lady at her job, a head start cook, on Mondays and Fridays. I may have a part time cook job coming up. Hope knee and back don't slow me or get me turned down. I may be beat up, just prop me in a spot or give me a stool to sit on so I can work. *laughs*
My lady and I have three years together as of this Wednesday, again another busy week. Hobbling or not, work to get done.
Thank you everybody. We hope for big big too, but most of all I look forward to the joy in people's faces come this weekend. This will be the biggest table sale I have done. Two and half days. Plus two weeks painting for it, think next Monday be a break day.
((((In need or not))))
Happy anniversary!
I hope the knee holds up for the table and for the job ((healing vibes))

((((Lepplady)))) Thank ya big big. It is a bugger, but I will put up with it.
My lady and I have been through some stuff, mean down right ugly times but last February we came to realize we want to fix it instead of move on. She is my muse, she cracks a whip if I am slacking ;) (not really) *snickers* Or suggest I try to paint something. We keep each other going.

Here, RCIC is preparation for First Communion for kids who didn't make it in second grade. Preparation for First Rec./Communion is in 1st and 2nd grade CCD, and preparation for Confirmation is 8th & 9th grades. It can vary a lot, though--I have a friend in Ireland whose kids made their Confirmation in 4th or 5th grade. As i understand it, that's up to the Bishop (and tradition for that area, I imagine). How did yours go?
We had a good first day. My kids tend to vary in age - this group is closer in age than normal for my class - 12-14 year old this year. Which is why we've got the Bishop's blessing for Confirmation during the RCIC year. They've all had previous, if not consistent, religious ed before. We joined the Knights for a pancake breakfast and then made prayer cards. I'm such a slacker.

How's your back?

MUCH better! Don't know how I pulled a muscle between my ribs, but however it happened, it's nearly normal now :)

Oh football. I do love to watch it. My son has played it for a few years, but now suddenly, they're all so big. I realize someone can really get hurt. Tomorrow is his team's first game of the season. He's a starting offensive lineman. He gets hurt, he puts the hurt on others. He does something he calls "pancaking". I have a very hard time watching it now. My husband gets aggravated at me because every time he heads out to practice I tell him "don't hurt anyone, and don't get hurt."

So many popcorns! Tankies!
Cleveland lost, but it was a ball game up until the end. And I got to watch it. Probably the only Cleveland game I'll get to see this year. I wish Direct TV would hurry up and join this millennium and make Sunday Ticket available online for mobile devices. They've already got it, but only for limited regions, and for some reasons, only students can get it. If I were in one of those regions, my arse would enroll in college faster than you can blink. I mean, just think of the money they'd make if it were available to everyone. What are they waiting for?
Ah, well. It is what it is.
I've got a TON of stuff to do. But I didn't get to sleep until way late. So I'm just up to put stuff in the slow cooker. No. I'm not sleep-crocking. I'm sorry to say I woke up hours before the alarm would have let me get 8 hours. So I'm going to try and catch a few more winks before I get up and hit the store stuff. One of the benefits of working from home on web stuff.
Wish your poor, tired Leppy some luck.

((Lepplady)) Hope you catch up on some Zzzz's!

All I saw of the foosball game was Manziel's finger! LOL

((Holly)) I know it's tough when your baby is out there on the field! Pancaking should only be done in the kitchen with lots of syrup!!

Monday is done, so onward and upward!

How did my daughter suddenly become an 8th grader??? Seems like yesterday that I was stressing about her first day of kindergarten....
My boy's an 8th grader this year. Hard to believe they're off to high school next year. It goes by so fast. Except when they're 3. 3 year olds make a year seem like a thousand.

From the hard to believe files: In 2 months our oldest turns 23. Wow - how is that possible?
