Oh no! What happened?!Red t-shirt with Native American artwork bought at the Petrified Forest (AZ) gift shop, barefoot on left foot and heavily bandaged right foot with ace bandage that coordinates with my khaki shorts.
I have to take my exercise clothes to work or I do not go the gym afterwards.
Had (planned) surgery on Friday morning to correct bunion, 2 hammer toes and neuroma. Will be working from home for the next 6 weeks while it heals as I won't be able to drive and it's a very strict no weight bearing on that foot. I have a nifty knee scooter that gets me around instead of crutches, though.Oh no! What happened?!

All kinds of things that never occur to you are harder to do once you can't do them any more. I have high arches which caused the bunion etc. Will get to do it all over again in December with left foot although no hammer toe so won't be as bad. Hope your mom heals quickly and the surgery in the calf helps with her mobility after! My mom has one of those right now. She tripped & fell down a flight of stairs, in the process breaking 3 bones in her foot. She had to have them pinned & plated, and the doc also did surgery to loosen a muscle in her calf (probably related to her MS)--he said that might have contributed to the fall, since she can't really flex her foot. No crutches for her, either (balance is too bad, also due to MS). No fun not being able to put any weight on a foot, right? Sending you healing vibes.

Are you sure this wasn't from kicking a certain author in the seat of his pants in an effort to get an advanced copy of the next book in the MM trilogy?
Nope, already read that one months ago. It might have been to get him to write the third one, though.
Well, I won't ask how it was.......I haven't seen the zippy mouth guy in a while, but I'm fairly certain the drought would be over here.even though I'm dying to know!!

Well, I am sorry to hear about the foot though and wish you a speedy recovery.
Does this mean you won't be kicking for the Pats after all?
