Just so you know i was practically acused of stealing today. A cokebottle!! Went in to a store to buy some juice and other necessities and had a 3/4 drunken bottle of coke with me. Bought somewhere else. I had just entered when this female gorgon came swooping down and almost screamed "What the hell are you thinking?" I tried to explain that i was thinking of shopping some food in her store. But no she continued screaming and practically accused me of stealing the bottle. She was extremely rude. Can't help thinking that that is not the way to approach someone using your store. Lots of interested onlookers. I just put the down the juicecartoon and the little packet of Salami i already gathered and went out of the store. You couldn't really talk to her and then what is the point in staying? So i bought what i needed in another store instead. My little adventure of the weekend.

Kurben--Sorry for that experience! How rude of that woman--not letting you explain yourself :mad: Some people just don't know how to approach things right, obviously that was not the way to handle the situation. You did the right thing--you're right, she wasn't worth the time! Glad you were able to get the rest of your necessities :):thumbs_up:

There's a study in "how to lose customers" right there. Does she not realize that the store's own security cameras would show you walking in with it? Whatta dolt.

I had a physical today and my BP is down from when I went to renew my allergy meds a few months ago. It was so high they were concerned but I knew it was either an error or a fluke since I check it monthly at a health center. Anywho it has been creeping up along with my weight since I turned 40. The fact that it was high at last appt, finally got me motivated. Today I was down 9 lbs and BP is almost down to what it should be! Wish me luck to keep heading the right direction. I am trying NOT to diet but to change my eating/exercising habits instead.

I've missed lots as I have been in and out, but I've tried to read what I have missed. So hugs, high-fives and shoulders to all that need them! Thursday is going to be lots of meetings but Friday will be a day off! Hooray!

Congrats do1you9love? (I am in the same boat - my BP went down recently, too) - I am mostly exercising to get it down and to feel better overall. Isn't it funny how having a good sweat and getting your heart rate up every day really helps?

We used to buy big bags of corn from the farm supply store and had a trough for the deer in my mom's backyard (of her old house). It was so precious to see the young ones! There definitely was a "pecking" order, though. Sometimes there were scuffles over the food. :(

Thanks Lepplady - doing the same thing myself - I had a hard time logging in (I think it was Wednesday?? :hmm: and missed several days - time soon to go make my "Impossible Pie" for supper
