I give out peanut free stuff in case there's any left over, so I can eat it. An added bonus, a few years ago two young girls came to my door and one asked if I had any peanut free candy because her friend was allergic. I was able to tell them they were in luck...all my candy was peanut free, and I said she could have two of each, to make up for the houses she wouldn't get anything from. And the other girl got two of each for keeping her friend safe.

My favourite as a kid was Sugar Daddies. But my mom always begged one off of each of us. My second favourite was candy kisses. And after years of the safe ones being gone...the peanut free ones are back.

I buy treats for over 100 kids. I run out every year. It's such a good neighbourhood for t&t, people who moved away years ago drive back to go through here. Usually I just sit outside with a coffee. It's not worth going inside between groups.

Wow.....this thread certainly veered off course in the few minutes I was gone. So, to get things back on track:

Meanwhile, back at the Ranch..........;;D (this is what they used to put up on the screen in silent movies to clue the audience in on the change of locations)
And lookit that, within SECONDS, here comes (dumbass) Flakes to derail it again. :a11:

I know what you mean. I swear those vegan skiers take out more deer than mailboxes after a day if skiing and a dozen glasses of wine around the ski lodges fireplace.
Those are hipster doofus vegetarians and they don't count for shyte! The kind who say, "I'm a vegetarian, but I eat fish and chicken, and red meat as long as it's free-range and killed humanely!" ;;D They are disgusting. :barf:
(P.S. I'm sorry, Siggy for the hijack! I should be punished!)

OMGawd, look at these two posts one after the other... I absolutely HAVE to share now. :biggrin2:

A while ago, a very special friend sent me a HUMONGOUS box containing lots of different types of U.S chocolate and there was a pack of (not going to say it in case one of my brats darlings happens to check out the MB :Oo: ) something that I managed to keep hidden from my boys the whole time it was here... in fact, there is one left, and I am going to eat it tonight while watching...
TWD.

My Aussie and Irish friends send me WAY better chocolate (and tea!) than we have here...with one exception. Reese's peanut butter cups. Both love them and say they're only available "at dodgy little shops where you don't dare run your card" (direct quote--lol) if they're available at all. I try to slip at least a couple into care packages a couple of times a year :)

My package included some of these... yummy! (Unfortunately my kids did a number on those. :biggrin2: )
BUT... I just saw some in a supermarket here the other day! (Yuss!) Must remember to tell my Magic Chocolate Elf that...

I usually give out full size Hershey bars....I only have a handful of trick or treaters, and not many houses in our neighborhood participate, so I like to give a nice treat.

I love candy corn!!!!......I even made up my own recipe for a candy corn blizzard last year......it is awesome!!

You better buy more of the big bars. I heard the neighborhood kids telling their friends about the crazy lady down the street giving out the big Hershey bars.
