Oh boy.... I'm bawling :a11: If this is how they're playing out the 2nd to last episode, then I have little hope for Jax in the finale... they better bloody not kill my Jackson!

I have a feeling Jax is not going to live.........................doesn't look good, lol.

BGS and I were saying the same thing the other day, but Justified comes back in January, I told him, and he reminded me that this will be Waylon and Boyd's final year too!!!

I can't believe Justified is ending this year, too. That is definitely one show I'm going to miss!

Lack of viewers is the producers story. Hard to believe.

I am so surprised that Walton Goggins (Boyd) has not received an Emmy nomination for the part he played as Kim Coates's beautiful transgender lover. Also nominations for makeup and costume for that character are deserved.

I won't say anything then---but I actually liked the finale. Of course, it won't please everyone, but I thought it was satisfying enough.

Will post more once everyone has seen it :)
Would ask that you still use spoilers as there will be a point at which someone may read the thread but still not have seen the finale. Have to confess that I still haven't watched the last couple episodes of LOST even after having watched all the rest because I'd seen a spoiler about it. It's still on my bucket list to see for myself someday, but the point being that the spoiler tag would still be relevant for some viewers no matter how long it's been. Thanks!

Oh, Ms. Mod, the LOST finale is amazing--even if you saw a spoiler, it is not one to miss--I hope that you do get a chance to see it! :)

Regarding SOA,
Jax ultimately dying...choosing to go out on his own terms...made sense to me. There was no happiness or peace for him, and he found it. He left knowing that his sons have a chance of a better future and leaving the life of chaos, as Tara wanted, and also Jax, but I felt like he realized that too late. His sons can grow up to be good men, as Jax says he wants his sons "hating him" because he's a bad person and a criminal. It's terribly sad and devastating :(
Has anyone watched The Shield? If not, I would highly recommend it! But, Michael Chiklis who played Vic Mackey on the show, was a not so good guy, as well. And fans were saying how fitting and ironic it was that 'Vic Mackey' killed Jax, lol. (Sutter was also a writer on that show)

That poor trucker and know he will never get over that horrible 'accident'. The ending left me thinking a lot about the characters but the homeless girl and her piece of cake that was also at Jax's death scene has left me mystified. Is there something I missed somewhere?

That homeless lady died when John Teller died in the motorcycle accident that hit her car. She is the Guardian Angel of Death to the Teller family..so she's basically a ghost and is only seen by Jax and Gemma. The blanket that she gives Jax is the same blanket that he gives her in season 1 when he visits his dad's grave and she's there at the cemetary...this hasn't been said by Sutter himself and he hasn't directly said what the homeless lady "really" means in the show but more for viewer's interpretations, but really has been more of speculation by fans...I think it makes a lot of sense

When Jax said that, I started bawling D:
Man... I bawled through quite a bit of it. When Abel said "love you, Daddy"... every time Jax spoke with Chibbs, when Nero's heart was breaking over (that biotch) Gemma, and OH SH!T! They totally got me with how Jax was going to visit with (that Mofo) Mr. Mayhem--I was so sure that Chibbs was going to shoot him then...I could barely see the TV screen!

Oh boy, and the song at the end (posted above) was perfect for every scene... this episode really wrung me out, yar? :O_O:

It did--you're not the only one! It was very heavy on the heart, I thought. It was very emotional...Jax with his kids...and then the club saying goodbye to Jax. Too much :(
