Are you asking for anything Stephen King related at Christmas?

My old mum is getting me Revival for Christmas.

I do regret asking her to get me it though. The fact that I could have bought it weeks ago and read it by now is very annoying.

Revival. Gaarrrr, I'm so behind.

Moi aussi (or ditto). I have to wait until Andy gets back from up North so this is one thing he can buy for me, along with some of those fizzy bath bombs from Lush.

Then after I read it I can finally look at all the posts on the board about it!

Love the French term "Moi aussi" . When we were being taught French back in the day I had a good friend whose nickname was Aussie (Richard Austerfield). It just reminds me of him everytime I hear. Unfortunately he died in a motorbike crash a long time ago.

I was thinking of asking for the heart of a small boy that I could keep on my desk in a jar, but I am not sure where one could legally and ethically obtain such an item.

Here's an idea:
a small jar like this picture with a candy or felt heart, and on the outside paste a paper with SK words.

LOL, that might be a tad problematic. As an alternative, you can always go to a T-Shirt place and get them to make you up something like this... for next to nothing. :)

...Robert Bloch is who I THINK he adopted it from....
  • People think that I must be a very strange person. This is not correct. I have the heart of a small boy... It is in a glass jar on my desk.
    • Originally said by Robert Bloch, as King has mentioned when quoting it
  • Robert Albert Bloch (/blɑːk/; April 5, 1917 – September 23, 1994) was a prolific American fiction writer, primarily of crime, horror, fantasy and science fiction, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is best known as the writer of Psycho, the basis for thefilm of the same name by Alfred Hitchcock. He wrote that "Despite my ghoulish reputation, I really have the heart of a small boy. I keep it in a jar on my desk," (a quote borrowed by Stephen King and often misattributed to him).[2] His fondness for apun is evident in the titles of his story collections such as Tales in a Jugular Vein, Such Stuff as Screams Are Made Of andOut of the Mouths of Graves.
