And that is almost 40 at not quite 9:30am. Out hottest time is usually around 3pm, so likely near 50 by then. Crazy, crazy weather for the mountains (even if we are sort of high plains desert).

You have a good attitude - I remember being in Edmonton Alberta after moving there from Ontario. I noticed how dry the climate was after 30 years in the same province.
I have been cooped up in the house now for a few days so I think I should venture out into the cold. It's not too bad as long as you dress warmly.
