I was looking for a email or physical address to send a letter to Mr. King to. Might anyone know or have one? Or know where to send correspondence to?
Thanks,

Oh sorry Ms. Mod - I did not assume you were in the kitchen rubbing elbows with the King family! I just thought you would know his preference in hot drinks etc. So did you guys drink coffee out of big bowls over in Paris when you were there? Back in the late 80s I spent six months in Quebec and that is what those francophones did. (Since the original Canadian inhabitants of Quebec did come from France I thought maybe they still did that in the "homeland" there as well).I could tell you whether we have it in the office but his housekeeper/s would have to tell you what is in the cupboards at his homes--that's not my domain.

No offense taken--just didn't want people to think I'm prowling around in his kitchen cupboards or that our office was located in his house. He does like hot chocolate and had what looked like some amazing cups of it while we were there. One was so thick, it was only slightly less thick than pudding--very decadent. Otherwise, he's a tea drinker--doesn't like coffee at all. I never saw any hot beverages being served in big bowls in Paris --always just your typical cup. Have to say, though, that the "American" coffee in Paris was better than the "American" coffee I had in Italy but Germany did it best.
I drink English Breakfast Tea and have had German coffee but for the buzz no one can beat Turkish coffee!
Well, forget it then....no kitchen tours allowed...

I'd love to give it a shot. I know it is a long shot, but trying to reach him, means the world to me, a few words to know how much he changed my life. Thank you for your time Ms. ModAt one time Stephen answered all of his letters personally. However, he came to realize that he had to make a choice between answering letters or writing books. As you can see, he chose the books and has left answering letters to his staff. He does not have a public email address. If you would still like to write, please let me know and I will send you the office address privately.
Turkish coffee makes me itchy...ouch.I'm one of those wimps who basically likes coffee flavored half and half. Hate espresso and dark roasted coffees so if it's on the strong side, Turkish coffee wouldn't ring my chimes. It would probably send me on a caffeine buzz that would take days to come down from if I managed to finish the cup.
