Sorry to hear of your tech issues, (((Sigs.))) (I wonder if you might need to reconfigure the router? Wish I could remember how I did this... )OH. MY. GAWD!
I am soooooo furious! I have Time Warner Cable and their service suxxxx SO MUCH! I have been on the phone with them for the past hour. My wi-fi is down to a snails pace. Frick!! They had me disconnect the power source and wait for 15 seconds and reconnect. I did that. It was supposed to re-boot in in 5-10 minutes. Yeah, right. Didn't happen. I call back and after being transferred to a gazillion people the tech guy had me disconnect the power source AND unscrew the cable wire. Ooookay. Did it. Now, rescrew the cable wire first and then plug in the power source. It should, SHOULD, be up and running good as new. HA! Call back and I don't have to be transferred to a gazillion people only one million, four hundred and seventy one million people (give or take a thousand) and lo and behold! It's not working! I have an appointment to have the techs come out here on Tuesday between 5-6 in the evening. That's NEXT Tuesday. Next week. Ha!

Every few months my cable/internet company 'Comcast' sends out a memo in the bill telling me that they have increased the internet speed- by now I should be able to download a page before I even THINK about it!! They tell you to 'turn off the power, disconnect the power source, remove the cable from the back of the router, wait 15 seconds and then put it all back together and turn it on' and then you will have the fastest internet. Bullcrap! I think it's a huge joke that they're playing on all of us, sitting there in their cublicles, yukking it up while they picture in their little minds all the hundreds of thousands of people getting down on their hands and knees, reaching behind their computers and messing with the wires/cables. It ain't funny! Bast*rds!! If they can remotely restore the power to the router then why can't they remotely increase the speed? Makes ya wonder....OH. MY. GAWD!

I hate when that happens.When my husband moved in with me eons ago, we forgot to change the dial up number and I wound up with a $500 telephone bill. I'll NEVER forget!
