Someone tell a joke! Not one thing went right today. Woke up late and in a bad mood and pissed because of the apt stuff. The last thing I need is to worry about rent again. Nope Nope.

Got shower before work. Dropped the soap 4 times. I broke it. slipped. Got out of shower and forgot to bring the towel in. Broke deodorant putting in on. Toothbrush fell on the floor. Many curses.
Go to get dressed. Zipper broke in my pants. Had to run back in bathroom but forgot I put my socks on and got them all wet. aggg! the worst! Out the door. Traffic and 2 accidents to get around on the way in.
Big trash truck one lane road. Traffic backed up behind it for a mile. Home. called about mattress pick up, they can't find my order. He did after I repeated the invoice number and my phone number 12 times. Helloo. McFly!

I am going to try and cheer up. Sometimes you just have to laugh.

I will be Scarlett. Tomorrow is another day.

Oh yeah... forgot to mention with the rant earlier - had to stop for gas on the way home and some guy crowded me for gas money, lost his wallet.... ect..ect. and I gave up what I had in there. Was only 5 bucks, but I hid the other toll money I had in there.

It think that would conclude my day.

Bed now.

edit: call from ex husband. Shuttin down now

Not here! Today is Victoria Day in Canada. I did have a bad night, though. I woke up at 2:30 a.m. with acid in my throat (forgot to take my Pantoloc yesterday). Went downstairs only to realize that the power had gone off.

It finally came back on around 2:30 p.m. today so it was off for 24 hours. Manitoba had a big storm last night with very high winds and we had about an inch of snow on the ground.

After chewing up a big handful of Rolaids and then taking my Pantoloc, followed by lots of water, I managed to get back to sleep and slept until noon (just getting up once to go to the bathroom).

So, overall, a pretty unproductive day, but I will get a load of laundry in soon and make something good for supper.

Happy Monday! Hope it was good for everyone, even if it was not a day off

Wow - can I edit this? My power was only off for 12 hours, not 24 :facepalm_smiley::facepalm: - well, I do seem to be 'math-challenged' :add:
(probably just FELT like 24 hours, although a good portion of that I was sleeping anyway).

Happy Hump Day to you all! Just stopping in real quick before I start my chores. I am preparing for my girls to be off from school for the summer. Friday is our last day here! I've got to stock the fridge. My girls are perpetually starving! I could cook all day and they wouldn't be full! I bet all of you with teens are familiar with that!! Have a good day everyone and don't work too hard!

I can't believe how quickly this has come up... summer holidays, it's scary how fast this year is zipping by.

Good morning and happy Hump Day!

Things are crazy busy around here, I keep thinking things are going to get easier, but they just keep getting harder. Not enough time in the day. And I'm tired.

It snowed here again yesterday afternoon and last night. The ground is lightly covered, cars too. It just isn't going to get nice here. My kids get out for summer next Friday, and it still looks like February outside.

Have a great day, everyone! I will pop in and out today, or try to anyway. Lots to do...I am mighty tempted to just veg and binge watch Outlander, I have only watched one episode since it has been back on.
