Poison Artist by Jonathan Moore on Monday and finished last night (only 273 pages). He was right--really good and kept me wanting to read more. It's a murder mystery with a side story. Even though you sort of know from the beginning where it's going, it wasn't completely what I expected but looking at it with hindsight probably should have.
