Thanks, but the reason I never watched it is because I had no interest. ;) I'd rather watch Breaking Bad instead. I tried it when it was first on but my partner decided he didn't like it and it wasn't worth putting up with his passive aggressive behavior but I think I have him talked into it now that we'll have to jump through hoops to do so. :glare: Maybe that can be my 60s decade accomplishment. :D

"Breaking Bad" is my all-time favorite series and "Friends" is still the best sitcom I've ever seen. Highly recommend both!!

I like jelly. Especially cherry!

Oh wait. You were asking if I speak adolescent. Sadly, not as well as I used to :(

I'll say this about that:

When I was an adolescent, nobody much cared -- or at least the media didn't exist to express the outrage -- how we talked to each other. I can think of a whole lot of language that got tossed around jovially when I was a kid that would be prompting public service announcements from Wanda Sykes today.

There was a particular word -- a homosexual slur that begins with Q -- that used to drive my middle brother crazy, and of course my little sister (six years his junior) would use it unerringly whenever he made her mad. She had no idea what she was doing, of course. All she knew was that it sent him into fits of rage.

Language should not be able to do that, it seems to me . . .

And yet . . .

Ahhh....I may be one of the few people left in the world who has never watched a single episode of Friends.
You can get to that right after Game of Thrones........:p:applause::p

I thought I was the only person on the planet that didn't care for Friends.

Sometime after forty I found I no longer had any tolerance for anyone's bulls***. This was no conscious decision, it simply manifested at given times until most cats that knew me got the message. Life too short, getting too old, to take crap from anyone. Kinda liberating. Got a couple raises out of it, I know that.

So, from this...do you find people treat you differently? I stood up for myself against some people who I always thought loved me for me, and now I'm known as "that b#@$&".

Didn't work out so favorably for me, but I had had enough. I wouldn't take it back, either. Hurts my heart, but I was in the right to do it.
