OK! I live in sweden.... but my brother mentioned that he has plans to invite me for parts of the summer. He lives in Fort Collins, Colorado. Thats close. I'll see if the tripdates coincide with the condates. In that case i'll try to be there. Don't know for sure until at earliest march or thereabouts. Looks like fun. For those that like scenic views there is a road that are only open in summer that go up in the mountain to where snow never melt, beautiful. (my avatar is taken there)
That would be so cool if you can be there, Kurben! My family is excited to meet you--you live the dreams of our nerdy little history and archeology loving hearts :)

I'm eager. I just hope I'm well received. I know I can be an acquired taste.

I know all YOU guys will be great. But I sometimes come across in ways I don't intend. I just hope I don't put my foot in it.

Mz. Lepplady, I for one would love to meet you! I hope you do come to Colorado! And I'm positive there are many others who feel exactly the same way. Please come! No worries, at an SKMB Kon, there's nothing to put your foot in...:biggrin2:
You will however possibly receive more hugs than is normal! My favorite part of a Kon. :cheerful:

I'm shy until I get to know people, so I'll hide behind you (is that possible? Probably not, as you're a tiny person :D) Alternate plan: travel with a flask of Captain Morgan =D (He helps me be less chicken-hearted)

The thing is, you already know these people to some extent and they know you. :) Maybe you'll be surprised how easy it is to just belong at a Kon. Such a great feeling. It was a million (I really want Flake's cool number here) times easier than I thought it would be.

I've forgotten what the number was now... just make something up and go with that! :biggrin2:

I so wish that I could meet everybody...

I'm gonna try. We'll see how it turns out. It would be cool to meet you too. I was encouraged by the reception of my articles so i'm gonna send them to some popular science magazines. Cross your fingers!!!

Maybe one of these days you'll be able to work it out, FlakeNoir. I am looking forward to that day. :biglove:
I just might one day... (Never say... oh crap, I just said it!)
Maybe one day you hear a knock on your door and you open it and there i stand saying You're Flakey-girl aren't you?
:biggrin2: You should call ahead... give me time to buy in some Kiwi cheeses and beer.

Dark looks cool... but you run into cost again. Before a printer can put colors, they have to put down a white base (or the colors are murky), and that counts as one of your colors (usually. Sundrop might know more about that, too)
You are correct. For the most part, printers prefer to have an under base for colors on dark tees. However, depending on which ink colors are used, an under base isn't always necessary. For example, brighter shades of red, blue, green, orange and yellow don't always need an under base. The simpler the design, the easier it is to make it multicolored. There's also a 4 - screen process called CMYK....they print the design using only cyan, magenta, yellow, and black....but the design is a full color print.
My ex usually offers his screen set up for free for orders over 20 pieces.....maybe other printers do the same.
