Slept in this morning until 8:30 or 9:00 - looks like a nice sunny day out there. My son and I will be heading to the polling station to vote - today is the big day.

May even get a bit of shopping done afterwards.

It is plus 14 Celsius here at the moment.

Getting a bit nippy up here - I had to curl up the garden hose and just sort of drain it as best I could and leave it curled up in the corner of the yard, near the fence. I have tried and tried to get it detached from the faucet on the side of the house but it is stuck.

Andy says it is a very good quality hose (he paid quite a bit for it) so he is hoping the extreme cold this winter will not write it off.
