Started chemo on Friday. I've been spending the weekend resting. Doing okay, but prayers are always appreciated.
Prayers sent! I hope everything goes well for you.

I've had a cancer scare and, while I'm not totally out of the woods yet, the first round of tests were encouraging. Results of today's tests will be in in a week to 10 days. Regardless of what happens, I'm so completely thankful and indebted to Dana Jean for being persistent about my getting a check up in the first place, because the anomaly was caught early enough that even a 'bad' result on these tests isn't horrible. Without her, I can honestly say I might not have gone in at all, and the effect on my life would likely have not been good. She gets all the hugs in my arms right now. Thank you, Dana Jean .
Thank you. I am a huge advocate for women's health and I am so glad I was a bitchy nag who shamed you almost on a daily basis.I've had a cancer scare and, while I'm not totally out of the woods yet, the first round of tests were encouraging. ((Dana Jean)) You rock!
Good to know I have a skill!Skimom, my prayers go out to you for all positive results.
Dana Jean, I'm glad you nagged her!!
Honestly. It's not a big deal. The worst part is in the privacy of your own home in the bathroom. By the time you get to them, it's a piece of cake. They wheeled me in, told me to count backwards and I think I got to 99. There could've been an azz party right 'chere in my lady parts and I would've never known. And was so relieved to just get it done.I haven't. I was supposed to next month, but canceled. That is so invasive, and the thought of it was making me not sleep.
I have! But I got a notice the other day saying that I'm due for another one.Okay, how many of you kingiacs haven't had a colonoscopy yet?
It seems inborn in many women.Good to know I have a skill!
In about a year and a half (at 50) is what my doc said. I will be listening now.Okay, how many of you kingiacs haven't had a colonoscopy yet?
