Blue raspberry flavor

Blue raspberry is a common flavoring for candy, snack foods, syrups and soft drinks. The flavor originates from Rubus leucodermis, more commonly known as the "whitebark raspberry" or "blue raspberry" for the blue-black color of its fruit.

OK after my silly Daisy Duke photo I remembered one I took a couple of sumemrs back. We were on our boat and I had my camera out. we were taking the boat down a lock on the canal and I suddenly realsied I was on eye level with some daisies so here they are:

Just saw that blueberries are the official fruit of Maine. Wild blueberries are supposed to be brilliant for your health as well.

They taste wonderful too. They are also grown in blueberry bogs in south New Jersey.
