This should be interesting. I was hoping that Lady Gaga would be doing something, but looks like we've got Madge instead.
Madonna Will Pay Tribute to Prince at Billboard Music Awards
LikelyAfter last week I wonder if her tribute will invovle a staggeringly inappropiate and embarrassing outfit?
Yes, I did see that comment made by Simmons. At first I was angry, but then I read the entire statement (which wasn't initially reported) and understood that he meant that being addicted to pain pills is pathetic because it's such a wide-spread problem and that this issue needs to be addressed nationwide.People are coming out of the woodwork saying they are related to Prince. It's really sickening.
Did you see that gene simmons called his death 'pathetic', and then said he was sorry for saying that? Unreal..
After I posted the video it struck me that this may have been one of the two concerts that I was at in Seattle for the Musicology tour because I do remember Prince playing those same songs and saying the same things he said during the video. It was such an incredible experience! Both nights when he came out on stage all he could do was stand there for five minutes because the applause was so thunderous!!!I was just watching this the other day, and it made me smile. He made the audience sing louder on Cream, and kept playing until they did. I would give anything to have been there.
When he did 'Sometimes It Snows In April', the tears came again.
I envy you that you got to see that show. He just seemed to be so sweet. After I posted the video it struck me that this may have been one of the two concerts that I was at in Seattle for the Musicology tour because I do remember Prince playing those same songs and saying the same things he said during the video. He liked to play with the audience for sure! This vid shows just how much of a tease he was. I was a member of his music club then and got to buy my tix for the first show weeks before the general public and got seats in the 11th row. I bought tix at the event window while leaving the 1st show for myself and my sister. I called her when I got home the first night and told her that I didn't care what plans she had (which I was pretty sure she didn't have any!) and said I'm taking you to your first Prince concert! She'd never been a big fan but I said that she HAD to see him live in concert!! She was converted that night of the show!!I envy you that you got to see that show. He just seemed to be so sweet.

Most likely they will be kept at Paisley Park. I've read that Paisley Park will be turned into a museum, like Graceland is for Elvis fans. I always wanted to go to PP but just never got around to it. He would throw last-minute parties there which would last for hours and hours....That's great that she got to see him, and that she got converted!
Has anything been said about what will happen to his 2 famous guitars? The one from Purple Rain, and the one with the symbol.
I had read about the museum, and the parties he would have. Most likely they will be kept at Paisley Park. I've read that Paisley Park will be turned into a museum, like Graceland is for Elvis fans.
