Have a medical procedure this afternoon that will hopefully take care of the vertigo I've been dealing with the past week and a half so will be taking the afternoon off. See you back here tomorrow. In the meantime, be kind to our volunteer moderators and don't make extra work for them. Newbies will have to wait for moderation.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Vertigo is terrible, hopefully this helps.

(((Moderator))) - hoping your procedure goes well and does the trick!

*jab* *bonk* * I don't know what sound a flamethrower makes, but insert it here*

See.....I told ya I got this!!
It think it's kinda like... WHHOOOSH!!!!! followed by lots of screaming!;-D

So, I went to jury summoning today. Had to report by 8:30. At 8:30, we found out the trial had been delayed until 10. (medical issue with one of the lawyers) Around 10-ish we got the call to move to the room. Civil case, contract dispute, 5 days max. Ok, I can do this. Judge asks tons of questions but nothing that would exclude me. After 2 1/2 hours they are nearly done. I get called up with several others to the jury box.....
then got cut by one of the law teams for their "any reason" clause. I told hubby it was because I was paying attention.

Anywho, I'm still on call for the rest of the week, so maybe not on so much. (((SKMB mates))))

Thanks everybody for the good wishes. I'd expected the procedure to be a lot worse than it was but the doc had prescribed a few meds to take beforehand so went really smoothly and no puking. I'm still feeling a little woozy this morning but my understanding is that I might for a day or two after but at least I was able to get up this morning without having the room start spinning and didn't need to steady myself. If anyone else has BPPV, the Epley maneuver that the doc did really helped and he claims it shouldn't come back although I might need another procedure since I had it in both ears.

So thankful the procedure is working. May it bring complete relief. Take is slow for the next few days, let all settle and adjust.

My stepmom just recently had this done. It seemed to help her! Her vertigo came on very suddenly and I guess they decided it was something as innocent as leaning back in the chair to have her hair washed before getting it cut that caused the imbalance in the first place. Who knew? Not me, but she was very sick for a few days.

Hope it continues to work for you and you feel all back to normal soon! That has to be awful, that degree of dizziness.
