...thanks!...and no, it has everything to do with people losing their minds over it as a sign of racism-which people have turned it into...I ride with it as a way of protesting people trying to force me into their way of thinking....
This is the license plate I have on the front of my Jeep.

Now I come to understand displaying the Gadsden Flag (commonly referred to as the ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ flag, a non-racial image created during our Revolutionary period to symbolize the concept of liberty) could be a punishable racial harassment “hostile work environment” act. PC madness, I tell you... Madness! :(

This license plate symbolism discussion led me to double check my sources in reference to my home state's plate motto, "Live free or die".
For some reason I had always thought the Patrick Henry said that. Turns out General John Stark uttered the phrase in the early part of the nineteenth century.
I also found out that 1977 a court ruling upheld state sovereignty over case appealing to each citizen's choice to display it. There is some ambiguity but it seems like you can cover up the motto if you want.
Boring story short, I placed a vanity plate on my very first truck which read: NOMI ~Live fee or die~

Completed a window job, measured a small roof job, estimated two other roof jobs, got two roof jobs, ordered material for two roof jobs, took a nap, cooked a steak on the grill (steaks), read a bit while grilling, planned ahead for the week (notifications and such), and I'm trying to psyche myself up to do some paperwork but odds are I wait until four in the morning when all is quiet and words and numbers (combined) are easier to deal. Time to water the garden.

I am cooking a prime rib roast with onions and carrots but we have no taters (shoot!)

Will have to settle for frozen fries which somehow just do not go with a nice roast
Oohh I thought you meant tater tots! It's raining like the old Harry here! I was in the pool when it started but scurried inside for fear of getting wet.
I'm having pinto beans and rice, seasoned with shallots and cheese.(Jolly Roger? I'll have to look that one up.:bones:)
