Spidey has rejoined the cyber world. Between Hermine, power lost and then cable outage, it will take days to catch up.

All my Ka-Tet family was greatly missed. All is well here, critters too. Just some branches down. I will be without service Thursday after noon as they replace my drop line. Guess that blown transformer did a number on everything.

Have a safe and fun Monday/ Labor Day.

(((all in need or not)))
Glad you are okay, Ms. Spidey!

Happy Labor day to all! Cleaning and rearranging rooms here today! Shew!

Mother-in-law's heart surgery went well. Surgeon is on top of things. Pulse was almost nonexistent yesterday, they'll keep her a week longer, and the father-in-law is a wreck. Blockage of some sort, intestines. Sister-in-law was pushing two wheelchairs into the hospital...push one...walk back, push the other one forward. Everyone is on the mend. Another relative will head south and out-of-state to bring 'em back the time comes. Thank you ever so much for the prayers! You're a God-send! :)

I'm eating chilli. Well, I was eating chilli...the bowl is now empty and yeah...I feel a...BuuuuuuuurP! coming on. Excuse me! :a11: Had some cukes and tomatoes, too.
Ummm. Loaded the truck, somewhat, for tomorrow, some of the bigger items, 16' aluminum plank, four sets of yellow scaffolding...will need to put some more in tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow. Humid today. Rain earlier, then sun, hot town summer in the city. Other surgeries coming up but best not to think about them. Why give one's self all that grief? that's my thinking. :)

Happy happy Monday! :)

Oh Walter, I hope everyone mends beyond epectations! I feel for the sister in law pushing the wheelchairs. If she is the main caregiver, everyone in the family needs to step up and make sure she has some days just for herself. Caregiving is exhausting and mentally troubling. She needs to have some fun things to look forward to.

Awwwww. This reminds me of my youngest son. He was probably 4 or 5???? Can't remember exactly, he was little. Anyway, he had to give blood. He wasn't flailing or throwing any fit, but he had tears coming down his cheeks. When they were done, he asked, "when are they going to give my blood back?" He thought he wouldn't have enough to keep going.

Hump day, hey? I'll keep that in the file.

Found the card for my wife...she had one sitting on the counter next to the computer this morning. Our 20th. She had to remind me I had a card for her, too. Thought I forgot...come downstairs this morning, see the card there, my name on it, couple stickers front and back, "love" and "butterfly kisses", and feel like a schmuck. Great, I think...par for the course. But at least I didn't get her a funeral spray...like I did one birthday...her birthday is right around Memorial Day and I come home with what I thought were real flowers. Ooooo! I think, when I step into the greenhouse up there on 26? In Houghton? Bunch of bright flowers! I take one and step over to the cashier, pay the bill, head home but not before grabbing one of those little cards they have by the register, one for birthdays. Found the card in the other room, on top of the gun safe other side of the washer and dryer. So...I'm all set. She went for a walk at the park here in town. Be heading out shortly, put the break in the truck, a roll of aluminum, saw benches...caulking...few other things.

We're going to go to the White House to eat tonight, heard good reports, never been there, myself. The wife has been there. Not in D.C. Mohawk, up north of here.
Happy Hump Day! :D
