She is only 17!
So Josh and her can only be 'best friends' or buddies until December 2017 - she is really sweet from what I have seen of her
She lives in a group home and is Aboriginal/First Nations - I doubt she will be hard to get along with. Maybe I am just a bit shy and the fact that Andy has gone back up to Nuvavut doesn't make it any easier
...it was no insult implied...simply meant if she's picky-then tell him to just move along....but now that you've given a little more background, it shouldn't be a worry...She is only 17!

It was 63 degrees this past Saturday in Indiana, just awesome. The sun came out and we all rejoiced.
I think you must have somehow found our summer, arista... it dumped almost a foot of snow in the South Island at the weekend, in the middle of summer!
I'm glad that Rita Coolidge, and Robbie Robertson (The Band) went back to their Native American roots, and made some wonderful music. IMO
You ever seen "The Last Waltz" ma'am? Excellent movie and some very good music.

I just looked it up, and saw that is the last concert the Band did.

I didn't know much about The Band, but I have found it pretty cheap at one place. Amazon wanted way to much for it!

I saw that there were a lot of artists at the show performing. Seems quite interesting.
I first saw it back in the early 80's on....LaserDisc....yeah...anyone remember those? My dad and his brother are big Levon Helm fans. The movie has some really good music from Bob Dylan, Neil Young, all kinds of music. It's kind of a documentary/concert film. Robbie Robertson is fun to watch during the movie.
I caught the end of Robbie on CBS Sunday morning the other week. I wish I had known he was going to be on there, I would have liked to known what he was talking about.
Why don't they make things that last these days? I was looking for my khaki/desert colour backpack that I bought at an Army Disposal store back in 1981 and it is still going strong but you buy these backpacks made overseas for cheap and they get a tear in them within 2 months. Lightbulbs/halogen bulbs have an inbuilt use-by date as well. There used to be a lot of Army Disposal stores when I was a kid. They had old German helmets and Australian slouch hats and daggers. Heaps of stuff. Now there's hardly any around. I remember those big American walkie-talkies. I think it was the AN/PRC-6.
