Okay I didn't read the article so maybe it explains, but, why is Hunk o' Beef and Pentobarbital processed in the same plant? That may even contain peanuts? And gluten?
In the past, Evanger has been considered one of the better manufactures of dog/ cat food. To the point of many of it's products being classified as human grade. OOoo, this sort of takes a murky turn in my imagination. In the past, Evanger has been considered one of the better manufactures of dog/ cat food. To the point of many of it's products being classified as human grade. They are investigating the "supplier" of the meat-
Pentobarbital, in the veterinary business, is used in euthanasia. How was the meat suppliers "beef" processed. Investigations are underway.
Evanger had always had a great record for quality products. One of the few human grade processors. Hope they do find the cause and no more product needs to be recalled....1st recall in their 82 year history is impressive, and as to the contaminant?.....I will bet someone messed with a certain amount of cattle that ended up being slaughtered for the food stock......
...as do I...that drug isn't just going to randomly show up...it's not only used by Vets, but it's also part of the "cocktail" some states are using for human executions....Evanger had always had a great record for quality products.
