OMG, my school kids were SO AWFUL today.
Yep, and they were on the detox shift for the candy crash.
NN, you can't do that to me first thing in the morning!! I am stifling laughter because I am the only one up.

I went into my room last night to watch TV, and Kat got in bed with me. Next thing I know, she is dead fast asleep. Larry had to pick her up to put her in her own bed, and she never woke up. She was tired!
I have been seeing in the news a lot of stories regarding teachers having in inappropriate relations with students. Maybe this was happening back when I was in school, but never heard of a teacher having relations with a student.
Exactly. It was much better today. I'm starting to have problems with one of my best kids, though, and that worries me. I'm beginning to think she has a slight hearing loss in addition to her learning disabilities. Being a kid is tough.
I've mentioned this before, but if Molly Ringwald is my Klaus Kinski, I will be her Werner Herzog.
Heck, I do. My chem teacher in HS was having an affair with a girl in my year and everyone knew it--the kids, anyway. He divorced his wife, married the girl once she graduated, and last I heard they are still married
Does the school do wellness cks as part of the program? Eye ck/ hearing ck? Maybe an issue could be picked up and then referred.
Most around here do vision, but not hearing without referral. I left a note for my boss today (she was in a meeting when school got out) and hope to talk to her about it tomorrow.
It has been projected that by the year 2030 landline telephones will be gone. Does anyone miss hearing the dial tone before placing a call? I miss hearing it because it assured me that my call had ended. Now, with cell phones, there can be that nagging feeling that the person I was talking to can still hear me. Ever picked up to be sure? "You there?"

I am trying to remember when the last time I saw a pay phone. Are they totally extinct?
I think they are all gone, Arista. I have not seen any in my area for quite awhile.
