Thank you! My critters are already treating my back patio as their personal sun worshiping spot....My girls are over the moon, that they get out at 9:50 today.......All good things! Sending you all my love, hugs and good wishes!! Talk to you all soon.Have a wonderful summer, Becks. Fun with family, fair weather, and happy critters.
I miss this looking forward to Friday thing(((all in need or not)))
Enjoy your time all alone in the house - sounds like a rare opportunity!Happy Friday!
I am alone in the house. Only time it is going to happen for a long whole, though. Between babysitting and kids getting out of school for summer next week, and Scott will be back on nights next week. It has been a morning, though...Evan missed his bus because he was not paying attention to the time. Was ready, just did not get out the door. (I may have not been paying attention to the time, either, was reading Gwendy. )
Drove him to school.
Then I had the preteen girl attitude from Ali.
Ty's class is having a little science fair at 11, so I'm going to go over for that. No RJ today and Sage won't be here until 12:30. So will go to his little presentation.
The snow missed us but did dump all over! They even got a little bit back home in Nebraska. The sun is trying to peek out right now. But will still be chilly today, high of 48.
Hope you all have a fabulous Friday and happy, relaxing weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all.

(You could run around naked if you want - just keep the blinds down)
Thank you so much for sharing that video, Cat! Just a thought, but perhaps running around naked might not be as pleasurable in practice as it is in theory. Here is a little video someone took yesterday afternoon, about 40 miles south of me. So the snow didn't miss us by much! It is about 5 min long but pretty much just circles around the same parking lot, (so feel free not to watch the whole thing! ) but does show the main highway south out of here and the lack of visibility. In May!
Storm was worse further south.
It only sprinkled here off and on all day, and the rain let loose around suppertime. Just glad no snow!
Only if you do it indoors, where you won't freeze your butt off!Thank you so much for sharing that video, Cat! Just a thought, but perhaps running around naked might not be as pleasurable in practice as it is in theory.
They're working on our house! WOOT! The wiring's roughed in and the plumber was out yesterday.
There is an end in sight. I don't believe it.

...."spleen on the floor"......priceless.....
This is just too funny!
No doubt. We've been staying with my daughter and her boyfriend. His mother's jealous, so she's decided to visit from out of town, ousting Tall Guy and Me out of the guest room (that we pay rent to stay in). We've been in the hotel for 2 weeks. Now, she's decided to stay another 3 weeks, just because. We don't have the money to stay 3 more weeks in a hotel just because she's scheming to keep us out of her darling boy's house.Good news, hope they keep up the good work. Faster, faster, faster
There you are! Insect day! Stick bug. Ick. Dangling spiders. I hope you didn't attract a praying mantis. They give me the willies.I am having a insect day and not happy about it. It started this morning with a huge thing crawling up the inside of my car window toward the opening. I had to drive miles with one eye on him while he hung on, inches from my face. I was sure he was going to get blown into me. Got him out when I could stop. It flew - whatever it was. Had paddle like things for back legs.
Then. Felt something on my arm at work. Ack. Stink bug!
Finally - (I hope) Outside for break - I went to get a strand of hair that was blowing about. But the strand kept coming, and turns out it was part of a web with a spider dangling from the end of it.
yep.
Argh! That bites. I sure hope your house is finished mighty quickly! No doubt. We've been staying with my daughter and her boyfriend. I've been tolerant so far, but she's about to find out who she's messing with.

Oh hey - we have a critter between our floors. If I had to guess I'd say it's a raccoon who likes to bowl. It sounds like it's rolling a bowling ball between the upstairs floor and the downstairs ceiling. Hrmph. We turned on a light a some music in the attic for tonight. Hoping that scares her away.
Guess what I won at trivia? A headlamp. I'm excited. Last time I won it was a waffle iron. I am serious in my excitement.
That's great! Did you ever see that roach movie with Stockard Channing? The Applewhites. Very strange insect movie. Ah, wait, I googled - the Applegates - Meet the Applegates.Didn't end there. Got home, TCM monster movie night. THEM! Giant ants. Had to watch it, to round out the day.
