No card but even better as far as I'm concerned is we get to take an extra day off at some point (it doesn't always work out on the day itself, e.g. this year with mine happening on a Sunday).
Have been working through the weekend backlog of posts from oldest to new so just seeing this thread. Thank you so much everybody for the birthday wishes! It was a quiet day as I'd told my kids not to travel thinking we were under the winter storm warning with 12-20" of snow forecast that turned out to be only 4. Oh, well, that meant there was more cake for me.
