Well, it's not gonna win any awards but it really was a good time. I definitely recommend it.Been wondering about that one. Figured it would either be very good or suck really hard.

One of my favourites... love this, watched it over and over growing up. Still have the soundtrack.27.) The Little Shop of Horrors (1986)
Thought this was going to be a dark comedy. I'd heard of the movie, but never watched it. I loved it! (And I hate musicals. LOL) Silly, kooky fun. John Candy, Steve Martin, Jim Belushi, Bill Murray and Steve Martin - can't go wrong with this movie for a laugh or two.
Thank you for reminding me that I found a DVD copy of Romero's film a while back! Now I just have to locate it in this madhouse and I have tonight's film sorted.KURBENS LIST

I checked out this DVD from the library today (it's slim pickings for anything remotely horror related!). I've never seen it either. Hope to watch it tonight or tomorrow. The Mummy (1999) FTV The version with Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in the leads. Good fun. Heavily inspired by Indiana Jones but it has the horror elements there too. No pure horror but a mix of action-adventure ala IJ and the mummy curses we are familiar with. No movie i will return too but it was very entertaining which was what it tried to be be. Mission accomplished. 3,5/5
Steve Martin is the best in this!27.) The Little Shop of Horrors (1986)

Neesy's List so far:
1. Son of Dracula
2. Alias Grace (well, what happened to her was horrible)
3. Arachnophobia
4. House of the Witch - teenagers trapped in abandoned house on Hallowe'en are terrorized by a witch
5. Carrie (at the motel last night) - the one from a couple of years ago
6. My Soul to Take (on SyFy right now).
7. It (second viewing at the theatre tonight).
8. Nightmare on Elm Street 3 at the hotel in Deer River MN.
9. Messages Deleted (2010) was on TV today - more of a mystery than a horror but there were some gory parts.
10. Pay the Ghost (2015) with Nicolas Cage - a professor frantically searches for his son who was abducted during a Hallowe'en parade.
11. Child's Play - sort of watched it but mainly it was on because son and GF were watching it - seemed kind of silly to me.
12. Silver Bullet - on AMC
13. Christine (yup - that one with the classic car)
14. Hmmmm - yet to be determined - not sure if I can sit through Dreamcatchers, so it might be Fido... (later tonight).
It's a fun movie. More Indiana Jones than Karloff's Mummy--even Flake could watch this one (;D )I checked out this DVD from the library today (it's slim pickings for anything remotely horror related!). I've never seen it either. Hope to watch it tonight or tomorrow.
13) Dawn of the Dead (1978)-The last time I saw this one was at a midnight movie back in 1982! I found a DVD copy at the thrifty a while back and nabbed it (they're hard to come by--apparently some sort of snafu about who owns the rights? That's what my son said, anyway). It doesn't hold up as well as Night of the Living Dead, but it still has a bit of juice in it. I liked it better than the remake, anyway.12) Nosferatu (1979)--I tried this one in English (IMDb says Herzog filmed the movie both in English and German), but found the performances wooden, so I watched it again in German with subtitles. It was a great improvement! Whoever subbed the copy I watched didn't do a great job (I can understand enough German that I picked up quite a few places where the subbing didn't match what was said at all--lots of paraphrasing that missed some nice phrasing), but the acting was much better. The producers of the new IT clearly drew quite a bit of Pennywise's look from this film, and I'd be willing to bet that Skaarsgard also studied Kinski's work in this film. A bit slow in parts, but interesting. Very creepy!
