Good morning!
I survived a visit by the inlaws last night.
Today is early release for the kids. I have parent teacher conferences this afternoon, but they should be easy. Not anticipating any issues. (Very thankful my kids are good students!)
So we have a four day weekend here. Kids are ready for it. Boys will be hunting, so with any luck we will be putting meat up this weekend! It is a big job but so worth it, to have the meat in the freezer. Crossing my fingers for some elk along with the deer this year, it's my favorite. Yum.

Conferences went well yesterday. Glowing reports all around. Proud of them all!
Have to quick do chores this morning and head to the courthouse to renew my plates today. Then get groceries. Want to get everything done before noon, hopefully, but I'm moving slow today.

Just stopping in for a quick second. Busy day here, with Fil visit and parent teacher conferences. Thankfully, my girls have Friday off. I am supposed to be cleaning and baking a chocolate lava cake, but wanted to stop and wish you all a fun and relaxing weekend. We go to the town clerk. She gets mad at me when I make paper airplanes out of my checks (to pay for the vehicles) and sail them through the window......

In Virginia, you can renew plates at the DMV or by mail. We can renew for 1 or 2 years.
2 years? Do you have to make a special kind of airplane with your check to do that?

Been meaning to look it up, but when we were driving to/from Montana, we saw 20 different plate designs. We wondered why and how?? It was so weird, there were so many different designs.
We just have the regular design that most people get plus University plates. They are the gold/brown like the Cowboy colors. Those are a bit more expensive.
