I broke with tradition and read The Deep Blue Goodby this January. I have Nightmare in Pink on my Kindle that I'm saving.
I'd like to get the book of letters between John. D and Dan Rowen from Laugh In. It's supposed to be a great read.
A Friendship: The Letters of Dan Rowan and John D. MacDonald 1967-1974 by Dan Rowan
Creed, McDonald gets murky towards the end. Was there really a lost book called A Black Border For McGee, where according to legend, Travis died? Does it exist? I hope so. Oh. And in the film 'Darker Than Amber', William Smith claims Rod Taylor (as Travis McGee) tried to kill him! And they in reality beat the crap out of each other!! True or not, it may be the most brutal fight scene ever filmed. Smith claimed the bottle he hit Taylor with was real. I can't imagine Will Smith & Jared Lito doing this.
