It did raise my eyebrow when I saw that she was on a couple of TV shows talking about this.

Wait, she was in prison?
I do feel sorry for her. I can't even imagine how she feels. This is her daddy. She knows him in that way. She doesn't know BTK. The unfortunate victims do.
But, her complaint with Stephen using BTK as inspiration was Rader receiving continued notoriety . That horse is out of the serial killer barn. He will always have notoriety. The fascination will never go away. So, I guess she decided to jump on the band wagon and make some money.
I saw her on Dr. Phil. She was odd. I wonder why? And I say whatever heals her, more power to her. If it is cathartic for her to write her point of view and earn money, it's her story to tell and sell.
Well said.I do agree. When things like that happen it can change your whole life as you knew it. You can not pick your family and control there actions. You have to just be the best person you can be and stay strong for yourself.
I think alot of her oddness is the depression. I have watched her on several shows and have decided to purchase the book.
It must be hard to have to take responsibility for a relatives actions. You miss the person you thought they were and can't understand what they did. How do you go on? I guess you just do whatever way you can.
Yes, people need to understand that although people like this do horrible, unforgivable things, a few of them still had legitimate relationships with their families. This of course does not excuse what the killer did, but it certainly excuses the way their family feels about it.It must be hard to have to take responsibility for a relatives actions. ...Bind....Torture.....Kill.....The Link on Page one of this Thread doesn't work anymore.
What does BTK's mean ?

Good point, but many people in these situations still have love for the person, though it may be an estranged and betrayed feeling. They still knew another side of this person who committed horrible acts, and what they were like before and maybe what motivated them to commit such crimes. Gacy’s sister still very much held sisterly love for her brother, as shown by why she says she’s upset but understood why no one empathized with her loss.however Iam not sure that relationship would ever be the same. As they become someone you do not know.
I watched the special A killer among us and Kerri said she had been abused and has PTSD.I do feel sorry for her. I can't even imagine how she feels. This is her daddy. She knows him in that way. She doesn't know BTK. The unfortunate victims do.

That's so sad.I watched the special A killer among us and Kerri said she had been abused and has PTSD.
That's it exactly. Your anger would make you question everything and undoubtedly make you lash out.however Iam not sure that relationship would ever be the same. As they become someone you do not know.
