Hey sisterwife! How did your detox payoff?
Well, I felt horrid the whole entire time. My back felt better, I had no heartburn at all during the whole time which was good. I ended up losing 10 pounds, but gained 2 back and have maintained that 8 pound loss. I did my own thing as far as this diet and it was dangerous, it was the first official diet I have ever been on, so thought I knew best. Wrong. I think I would have felt better if I would have actually read the book and followed the recommendations therein.

That's pretty awesome! I have a hard time with dieting - I feel like I don't eat bad stuff too often, so why diet? but I do have sugar in my coffee everyday, and I love dairy products - I think dairy's my biggest problem -I could eat a stick of unsalted butter like it's a popsicle, and I've never met a cheese I don't like.

Hey that's great! I'm glad it paid off.

I should have been smarter about it. But the weight loss was nice.
And getting sugar out of your system is not an easy thing to do - I've never made it very long on that quest.

Happy weekend everybody! My sister turns 40 today and my mom is giving her a surprise skating party (yes, my sister is still 12 in many ways). So the kids and I are off on a road trip soon, and a couple hours of skating - it'll be fun, though. It's rainy here - so peaceful, at least until the kids wake up. I'm going to sneak off and go book thrifting before they start hollering for their breakfast.

Isn't this board just the best place to talk and make friends? I'm here daily, but this week I didn't get to talk much and I missed it. I'm sure making up for it yesterday and this morning. And I'm equipped with an amazing list of books to be looking for in case I can't find King, so I'll come back with something to read today.

Ya'll are the best! Happy weekend!

Hey guys.
Just dropping by to wish you all a good weekend.

I haven't been here much lately, I have not been feeling well at all. And until I get the right allergy meds, my guess is that I will continue to feel bad. I am just glad that I have been able to go to work... It shouldn't be long now, until I can use my danish health insurance again. I just worry that I will have pneumonia by then, I am coughing my lungs out already. I thought about seeing a doc today, but as they have already said I have to make due with the less effective meds until I see the allergy specialist, I didn't want to waste my time. Netflix is my friend these days!

I will quit my whining, just wanted to give a sign of life :)
