i am reading Everything's evetual and double feature. There is a book out there i want to read the unlikely pilgrilmage of harold fry. I tend to stick with the same authors and not try out new ones. but am trying to change.
I enjoyed The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. Ended up having to purchase it from the library because one of my kids spilled tea all over it! ;-D Hope you like it!

Just started Lights Out by Peter Abrahams (checked out from my local library-also not in Transylvania!). ;) It's one of SK's recommended reads at the end of On Writing. :smile-new: (Read A Perfect Crime by Abrahams last year and thought it was decent.) Had to take a break from Night Shift-too many nightmares about rats!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes and welcome backs! Your good thoughts are much appreciated. We're back on track and everything is going good. I am starting "Doctor Sleep" today. Have had it for awhile, and decided now would be a good time to pick it up. I'm ready for a good ol' SK tale!

Iron House by John Hart.

I've read all of his books and I really enjoy his style. He's slowly making his way . . .
Please let me know how you like it, MM. I really liked King of Lies and Last Child (especially), but wasn't so impressed with Down River. I've had Iron House in my Amazon cart for a while now, but can't seem to click it to make a purchase.

I feel the same --I really, really loved King of Lies! I think he's a great writer and I think you would really enjoy Iron House a lot. It is a very good read.

I spoke to him by email after reading King of Lies and he's a very nice man.
