Hi all.
Hope you are well.
This question is the main reason I registered on here, I'm hoping you can help me out.
I've read the Dark tower series quite a few times and this one thing has bugged me for years.
In wolves of the calla( il try and find the exact place when I'm home) there is the point when the ka tet is talking about the number 19. Then the get to talking about classic fairy tales.
When Roland asks how many fairy tales there is, the others all answer 19 unamimously.
So my question is this.
Did King just say there was 19 takes for the sake of the plot? Or is there actually 19 classic western fairy tales? I can't find the answer.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
