Was this year's Halloween story posted over there when it started? If so, I totally missed it.
Lepplady this years Halloween story 2015 has not yet been posted. It is still in the works. Keep watching for it-- sometime next week........

I think this thread was supposed to be the announcement... I missed it too until somebody linked me to it... I think that's what happened.... I have memory-itis....
Lepplady - this was/ is the thread that announced the 2015 Halloween Story and became the sign up sheet for possible writers. Lily made the original "call out" public announcement.
The story and link was also posted in Chattery Teeth- Random Thoughts page 145 post # 2811.

This year, the writer's screen name will be posted at the end of their piece. That way, people can get individual kudos at posting. This was the compromise between announcing the order of writers before the story begins and announcing them as a group at the very end. We'll see how this works

Absolutely spot on, Ms Mod- I explained that to LL, ( several posts back--Lily making the original public announcement here for the MB) but LL asks again about Chattery Teeth, thus I showed her a post containing a link to GD. Had LL looked in GD, instead of CT she would have seen the announcement. Sorry for confusion.

Exactly. I meant that there was no dedicated thread in Chattery Teeth, just a mention in Random Thoughts over there. I understand that it's been here in General Discussion since July, but I don't always check GD. I spend most of my time in CT.
Every time someone posted in this thread it shows up in the New Posts. It was put in this thread because it is related to Stephen (his MB) and not a random topic which is what Chattery Teeth is for.

I honestly don't remember but it wasn't this year. You might want to start using the New Posts feature in the future to make sure you don't miss out on topics that are of interest to you, though.
This thread has been quite active.

I'm looking forward to reading the Halloween story; I always enjoy it. To some degree, as someone who aspires to write things people want to read, I've always wondered who (and how many) people have broken into the field who spend some time here on the site. Given how many of us there are, and how many fans of King there are out there, I think it is almost a certainty that there must be break outs. Time will tell.

I hope so. Would that not be the kicker? I would love to see a little shout out to the SKMB in a published form. It could be a random thing, something that we would catch.
