After many years of being a constant reader I finally picked up "On Writing". I haven't laughed out loud so much in a long time. On a side note: my son just moved from Lisbon Maine to Auburn today, feeling that Lisbon was a bit too weird of a place to raise a family. Certainly hasn't changed in forty years. Thanks for all the small miracles.

Welcome. I'm finishing up "On Writing" and, I gotta say, it's a fascinating read, even for non-writers.
