Agree. Collections are great for a quick dip in and out.how about a collection...Four Past Midnight...Different Seasons. What are there, four stories in each one? 4-pk. Good beach carry. Maybe find a used paperback and tear it apart so you have four shorter pieces if the thickness of the book is too much. Be on guard against purists with sharp knives. Adds a bit to the adventure, though, live dangerously.
If you mean UDBU,....OK, I ain't gotta clue about that acronym...somebody please help an old fossil out?...coz I don't want to read anything else, until my novel arrives well after everyone snatches it up elsewhere-coz I gotta wait for the SK Library to limp it to the mailbox...

YEEESS! The wait is soon over. But wait, does it publish at the same time in sweden? I've been waiting years to have SK try his hand at a crime story. Of sorts anyway.Mr. Mercedes will be out next week (June 3rd). I'd be very surprised if you didn't find it to be a quick read even at 436 pages.
I loved The Girl who loved Tom Gordon. Not very long but very good, better than Joyland in my opinion. But Joyland was good too.....So as summer begins, I am trying to read as many books this summer as I can. However, I have noticed a pattern in me. If I start off the summer with a good, quick read, the other books I read will generally be good quick reads. If it takes forever to read the first book, it'll be painfully long to read the others.
So I was wondering if there were any good Stephen King books that I would be able to read in a day or two?
btw, I have an average reading speed.
...NOW I got it....just hadda make me read didntcha????....well I did till I was BLUE in the face....If you mean UDBU,
